It's an art exhibition centre of new creation (2008) of more than 2500 m2. It's located in the Triangle of Art very close to the hotel Jardin de Recoletos.

It's an awesome Museum-house that in old times belonged to the famous painter Joaquín Sorolla where it's possible to find a great part of his pictorial work.

This Museum house belonged to the famous Spanish antiquarian Jose Lázaro Galdiano and consists of a library of twenty thousand volumes, valuable manuscripts and incunabulum and about thirteen thousand artistic works, available all of them for your visit in this precious House Palace.

9. Monastery of the barefooted royal nuns
It's a nuns' monastery. The Franciscan barefooted nuns of the order of St Clare, founded in 1559 by Juana of Austria. The monastery is placed in the current square of the Barefooted nuns (in Madrid, Spain), nearby the Plaza del Sol square.
